About Dr. Brittany Plymell

I've always felt a strong calling to help others and knew I wanted to pursue a career as a healer. After graduating from the University of Western States Chiropractic College, I founded Vida in 2019 with the vision of creating a warm and welcoming environment with compassionate and skilled healers. Ensuring that every person who walks through our doors feels seen, heard, and validated is paramount. Additionally, every provider at Vida is a committed ally to the LGBTQIA and BIPOC communities.

My treatment approach places a strong emphasis on muscle recovery and bodywork. I utilize various modalities such as cupping, Active Release Technique, and Post Isometric Relaxation to address soft tissue complaints. My practice includes hands-on manual adjustments, as well as drop table and activator adjustments. Additionally, homecare stretches and exercises are integral components of my treatment plans.

I treat muscle and joint complaints, headaches, TMJ issues, and auto accident injuries, with a specialization in prenatal/postpartum care and hypermobility/EDS. In 2020, I completed the EDS ECHO program to expand my expertise in managing hypermobility spectrum disorders.

My passion for assisting mothers has driven me to specialize in prenatal and postpartum chiropractic care and rehabilitation through ongoing education. I not only help mothers manage the physical discomforts of pregnancy with bodywork, adjustments and exercises, but I also love sharing tips and strategies to navigate the physical changes. Additionally, I’m trained in the Webster technique, a gentle analysis and protocol specifically for pregnant individuals.

Connecting with and supporting moms throughout their pregnancy and postpartum journey is a highlight of my practice.
